Aren’t these fox-bodies? As in plug-and-play with a ton of Mustang aftermarket stuff, and you can built the perfect sleeper?

Yup. There’s a ratrod 2-door sedan that runs around here. Has a nice stance to it and sounds pretty mean. Better-looking than a contemporary Mustang, too.

i know, and understand......... it helps to be able to ask for things by their actual names......

you end up with that much heavier, less supported(by the aftermarket) granada platform, and you would probably be a bit disappointed.

You probably don’t. Deep in the malaise of crappy Detroit, that one. Tinny body, cheapy plastic dash. Clunky emission controls...

they had some real neat curves to them, almost like 3/4 of a torino...... but they weighed a whole lot for a little car....... most of the ones i drove were the tired inline six, with auto 3 speeds............

cant remember the last time i seen one in person, moving under its own power.........
